"As someone who has always revered the singer songwriter, Rob Morsberger's
work has always impressed me as that of a kindred soul. He has clearly absorbed the great influences of the past decades - from Robbie Robertson to Randy Newman to Bob Dylan - and brought them to life in a contemporary homage, and with a fresh and insightful take on the world and the arts."
Ron Fierstein, RF Entertainment
Rob Morsberger is a singer-songwriter/arranger/keyboardist whose credits include work with Marshall Crenshaw, The Roches, Loudon Wainwright III, Dan Zanes, Jules Shear, Willie Nile, and many more. Classically-trained, he is also a busy working composer currently in his fourth season scoring the award-winning PBS series NOVAscienceNOW.
Since 1995 he has worked steadily with guitarist Jon Herington (Steely Dan, Madeleine Peyroux), bassist Paul Ossola (Levon Helm, The Roches), and
drummer Robin Gould (Carly Simon, Michael Franks). Their album trilogy of
songs about love, science and literature is newly available, greatly enhanced
and reworked. You can now preview and purchase A Periodic Rush of Waves, Relativity Blues, and The End of Physics here.
