Rob has been producing a record for Dave Roche, a stellar singer-songwriter as well as a fine guitarist. To steal from the title of one of his songs, Dave is ‘as good as it gets’. With pre-production done on over half the album, drummer Brian Dunne and bassist Paul Ossola have signed on to serve as Dave’s rhythm section.

Rob has co-written two songs with Chiara Civello for her forthcoming release on Universal. Chiara is an incredible talent, a singer-songwriter/pianist with deep roots in jazz and Brazilian music.

Iris Records recording artist David Small was in the studio recently tracking keys for his next album. Sheryl Crowe keyboardist Mike Rowe played some wonderful B3 and piano, and Rob played accordian on a beautiful ballad. Dave is the real deal.

Fab Hudson Valley singer-songwriter Matt Turk will be recording an album project with Rob at the Farmhouse in May.

In February Rob was hired to orchestrate a really cool pop song, ‘Wonders Never Cease’, by the band Morcheeba, for Discovery. The orchestra was recorded in sections at Pilot Recording Studios in NYC with Rob conducting and producer/engineer Stewart Lerman manning the board. Kudos to the talented folks at Anatomy Media for bringing Rob on board for such a fun project.

Rob’s filmscores have been on the airwaves a lot recently, including back to back episodes of NOVA in April (‘Saved by the Sun’ and ‘Newton’s Dark Secrets’), Masterpiece Theater, and others. He is currently busy finishing episodes 4 and 5 of the series NOVAscienceNow. All five episodes, scored by Rob, will air consecutively beginning in July.
